The Cowboys

Caleb sat quietly through his 3rd Dallas Cowboy game(he was born when the Cowboys played on Monday night) and witnessed the devestating loss to the much hated Redskins. Up here we always watch the Cowboys but the game against the Redskins is a huge deal because we are pilgrims in a foriegn land. Caleb was quick to offer moral support to his father, note the clenched fist in the air. But his father observed that there were many similarities between how both Caleb and the Cowboys spent the game. They both just laid there, no emotion, no passion, and at the end of the game, all they had to show for it was poop that only a mother could appreciate.

For Dad

Word has it that he is pretty proud of this little man's big feet.

More pics

We have always been amazed at Brylee's situational awareness. She is almost always aware of everything that is going on around her. if you click on this picture and look at her eyes you can see that despite being ushered down the aisle by the wedding coordinator, she spotted the cameraman.

Too good not to share

Bailey and Brylee were in a wedding in late August. Brylee was being a little too distracting to everyone and so I took her outside the tent where she could hear the music.

Bry getting to hold her brother for the first time at home.

I love this picture not only for the pose that Bailey is making, but becasue Bry swiped the camera while none of were looking and took this picture. They are such a team.

You forget how tiny they are. Em and I have been taking pride in the snugness of our swaddles. There were even a few occasions that the nurses commented on how good they were.

Here he is! This is little Caleb and this is what he does most of the time. just hang out. He has the best temperment.

Here are the generations. It is such an honor to carry my father's name and to pass it on to Caleb.

Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will praise you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.

Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.

You, O Lord, reign forever; your throne endures from generation to generation.

One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.
